Problems joining the event?

If you have trouble logging in, don’t worry, we are here to help.

If you are presenting from an NHS location or with an NHS computer it may be, for security purposes, that you have a firewall in place that is preventing joining the conference.

If you can switch to a personal computer, now is the time, and try again.

Otherwise, contact the IT department, explain that you wish to present at a live conference and ask them to allow you access to this website. Most IT departments will do that.

Next, if you get an error message asking you to connect by using the browser, Chrome, you can do that here, is it free. Follow the onscreen instructions and login with us.  It will take minutes.

If you are unable to download Chrome, the long stop solution is to download the Zoom App.  The chances are, if you are unable to download Chrome you won’t be able to download Zoom on your computer, so please download it to your personal smartphone.
To do this, download the Zoom app from one of the two following links.

  2. Google Play Store – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=us.zoom.videomeetings&hl=en_GB&gl=US

Once downloaded, please use the Meeting ID 3664666531 when asked, use this password to join the conference:


Follow the instructions to join us through the app. It will be difficult for you to use Powerpoint on a smartphone, so please email your slides and a contact telephone to jwilks@ihm.org.uk and we will do it for you whilst your presentation is underway.
